Engineer Hossein Foroutanmehr, the father of the Iranian concrete industry, was present at the new academic year celebrations at Sharif University where he conversed with students and expressed his intention to provide further facilities seeking to integrate industry and academia.

In line with its motto, “Concrete durability, the key to sustainable development,” Fahab Beton has taken many initiatives over the years while planning to achieve goals compliant with environmental monitoring and preservation, environmental protection, and reduction of the waste and harm cause by the concrete plant.
Concrete is the second most consumed product following water. As this product cannot be eliminated, its adverse effects must be minimized as far as possible. Some of Fahab Beton’s measures to reduce the environmental pollution generated during concrete production include the following.
Further, the most essential step Fahab Beton has taken as indicated in its motto is to have increased the durability of prefabricated concrete as a result of years of experience and research, seeking to increase the lifespan and stability of structures, which is a significant step toward environmental protection as well as protection of national assets.

This visit aimed to familiarize the students with Fahab Concrete’s advanced equipment and facilities and demonstrate how they work.

In the end, Fahab Company emerged as the leading entity in the production and implementation of various types of self-compacting concrete, successfully securing the first position.
At the conclusion, Engineer Hossein Foroutan Mehr, the father of Iranian concrete industry and the CEO of Fahab Beton was duly acknowledged for his presence in this significant event.

Continuing its collaborations with academic institutions across the country, Fahab Beton hosted a group of students from Sharif University of Technology for a 350-hour internship program. The internship included both theoretical and practical aspects providing the students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of ready-mix concrete. At the conclusion of the program, certificates were awarded to the participating students. Fahab Beton has consistently been a supporter of education, dedicating its resources over the past five decades to enhance knowledge in the concrete industry. Collaborating with reputable academic institutions and scientific bodies in the country is one of Fahab Beton’s initiatives.
